Werner has lived and worked outside his native Austria for more than 35 years. During his extensive career as an international banker he experienced cross-cultural environments in many forms having lived and worked in a number of European countries as well as in the United States. He has managed international multicultural teams and successfully worked and negotiated in a number of cultural settings. His interest focuses specifically in helping organisations to manage change and in professional development. Werner has worked as Coach and consultant in local and international environment within various industry segments, like financial services, manufacturing and electronics as well as those related to food and beverage. His specialist activities include:
- Executive Coaching. Werner is accredited as an Executive Coach with the Ashridge Management School in the UK and is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
- Working with teams on change within the organisation with a focus on inter-cultural issues. - Development and implementation of management competencies.
- Working with senior management and high potential individuals. He is a skilled facilitator and is committed to helping his clients generate sustainable change that takes full account of organisational realities.
In his Executive Coaching he principally works on developmental and transformational issues. In his interventions he primarily uses styles supporting the client to help him/herself.
During his banking career he gained extensive experience in risk management and industrial operations from the financial services point of view, as well as in coaching and mentoring activities within a corporate environment.
Werner has lived and worked in Spain for almost twenty years now, initially in corporate management positions and later in the organizational consultancy he co-founded in 2000. He has also been actively involved in a number of consulting and coaching projects in other European countries. Prior to his involvement in this consulting company he was a senior manager in a multinational bank, more recently in charge of change management in parts of Southern Europe, restructuring businesses and operations which involved extensive coaching and mentoring activities. He attended executive programmes at Harvard Business School (PMD 44) and UCLA (Exec. Program, Group 45).
His primary working languages are English, German (mother tongue), Spanish and he also has a good level of Catalan.
